Election Day Blogging
I’ll be live blogging as much of the day as possible. Currently on the itinerary:
- Informal exit interviews with voters
- Keith Ellison Victory Party
- MPR Policy & a Pint
- DFL Victory Party
- Early election results from counties
Any ideas for novel election day activities is more than welcome in the comments section.
For intel on State Legislature campaigns, MN Campaign Report is your destination.
Statewides and congressionals should head to MN Publius and their Election 2006 feature.
Minnesota Monitor will have live reports from embedded bloggers.
MN Blue is also going with a live blog - with special attention to the IRV measure in Minneapolis.

Noah,
Why are you not commenting on any “local” elections? I appreciate your insight into politics on the national and even state wide level, but what about all those “in your back yard” issues at the local level? I love visiting your website for some reality checks.

I would if I could. Actually, if you go back into the still shallow Blanked Out archives, there are more local race stories there. Simply put, I haven’t had the capacity/time to do effective reporting. A lot of that is due to breaking my arm so soon after starting the blog and then dealing with the false-hoods propagated by the so called “Blogger-Gate”.
There certainly is more room for that kind of reporting, which I will try and do more of in the future, especially since Minntelect and Minvolved are now dark.

Hey, Noah, do you know what happened to American Hot Sausage? I just checked, and I am now getting a message that I need a password to get in. I never did before. Nor do any previously functioning links work. Has he pulled it? Is someone blocking it? Do you know anything?
